The 7 minute workout

Too short of time to exercise? Can’t face spending an hour sweating it out in the gym? Good news – according to experts, just 7 minutes a day is all it takes to get many of the fitness benefits of prolonged endurance training.

If you’d like to fit your fitness into just 7 minutes, try this HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training workout) every day. This workout does not require any fitness equipment so can be done easily at home, in the park or even whilst on holiday. Fitness experts say that HIIT workouts increase your metabolism and burn calories at a higher rate than non-interval workouts. They say that your body will also continue to burn calories up to 90 minutes after you finish your workout – amazing!

IMPORTANT: High Intensity Interval Training is not suitable for pregnant women, or anyone with a medical condition – always seek advice from your health professional before starting a new exercise regime.

Perform these 12 exercises for 30 seconds each, with a rest of 10 seconds between exercises.
